Come Fall Paddling with The Woodstock Paddling Club!
Fall is one of the most beautiful times of year for canoeing. Our forests are already bursting in color, so why not get out there and enjoy this spectacle that comes only once a year! You can also enjoy the cooler temperatures, fewer bugs, and witness local wildlife preparing for winter. The Woodstock Paddling Club will be hosting the following canoeing activities:
Saturday, October 12th
10:00 AM – 4:00 PM – Paddle Canada Canoeing Course (Community Course) – Day 1 (of 2). This is an official Paddle Canada “Introduction to Tandem Canoe” course. The course is open to 10 participants. Expenses have been covered by Horizon Health. Please note this is a two-day course and is open to ages 16 and up. Email Greg at Kan0e1tnb@gmail.com if you would like to register for the full course.
Sunday, October 13th
10:00 AM – 4:00 PM – Paddle Canada Canoeing Course (Student Course) – Day 1 (of 2). This is a second “Introduction to Tandem Canoe” course that was set up for high school students. Expenses have been covered by Horizon Health. There are TWO spaces left on this course. Please note this is a two-day course and is open to ages 16 and up. Saturday, October 19th
10:00 AM – 4:00 PM – Paddle Canada Canoeing Course (Community Course) – Day 2 (of 2). This is Day 2 of the course that started on October 12th.
Sunday, October 20th
10:00 AM – 4:00 PM – Paddle Canada Canoeing Course (Student Course) – Day 2 (of 2). This is Day 2 of the course that started on October 13th.
