Did you know there are many other items besides books you can check out? A large board game collection (for use in the library), as well as snowshoes, hiking poles, and kites you can take home for 3 weeks!  Borrow your choice of the best books, magazines, newspapers, CDs or DVDs. We’ve got something for all ages! Search our collection.
 
There’s more to a library than books! We have activities for everyone. Use our public computers to surf the net, catch up on the news, write your resume, or tap into our E-Resources and our Virtual Reference Library.
 
Ask for what you want to read. Just because something isn’t on your local library’s shelves doesn’t mean you can’t read it! Stop by or give us a call to make a request and we’ll deliver your selections to the most convenient library for you.
 
Our friendly and knowledgeable staff provides quality services and programs. Drop in… the library belongs to everyone!
 
Library Highlights:
  • Woodstock Heritage Walking Tour - This self guided walking tour of Woodstock's older homes and businesses. Starts at the library. Brochures available at the library.
  • Interior of the library(Greek Revival) built in 1914 is appointed in solid mahogany imported from Honduras.
Our Special Collections:
  • Raymond Genealogical Centre - featuring family histories from the Carleton Co. Area with census records, local papers and telephone records all on microfilm back to 1849.
  • Dalton Camp Canadiana Centre - dedicated to works by, for, and about Canada and Canadians.

Rotaract Club of Woodstock Free Little Libraries are all fully stocked and ready to share accessible literacy with community members of all ages!

Take a book, share a book at one of the 4 locations: Connell Park, Farm Market Waterfront, Broadway Green Space, and Eastwood Drive Park.
