The Sports Wall of Fame was made in commemoration of the Town of Woodstock's sporting heritage by recognizing outstanding achievement in the field. The wall recognizes and honours achievements of individuals or teams who bring special distinction to Woodstock in any field of sport and those who make a major contribution to the development and advancement of sport.
There are three classes of inductees, including athletes, builders and teams.
The Woodstock Sports Wall of Fame is governed by a volunteer board whose task is to choose the recipients from submissions submitted by Woodstock citizens.
