THE TOWN OF WOODSTOCK GOES GREEN

Mayor Slipp, Members of Council and the Employees of the Town of Woodstock want to thank the residents and visitors to our community for their unwavering commitment in keeping our community safe over the last sixteen (16) months.

When the clock strikes 12:01 am on the 31st of July, the mandatory emergency order for New Brunswick will not be renewed, with all New Brunswick going to the "GREEN LEVEL”, Pre-COVID. When the State of Emergency was declared in March 2020, the Town of Woodstock was steadfast in adhering to and practicing directives from the Chief Medical Officer and Premier Higgs. As a municipality, we will continue "GREEN LEVEL PROTOCOLS” for all Town Operations.

When entering town facilities, hand sanitizer will be available, and if patrons wish to sign their name indicating that they were in our facilities, that opportunity will be available to them. Although not provided, if you choose to wear a mask/face covering, please feel free to do so. For others who do not want to wear a mask/face covering, please be respective our fellow residents and visitors who decide to continue with this protection.

To a person, we have shown compassion and respect over the past sixteen (16) months. I know that we will not waver from this course of action, as we  start our lives of normality again. If at any time that you would like to speak with me, as to the contents of this public notice, please do not hesitate to call me here at the town office and/or drop by.

CONGRATULATIONS WOODSTOCK, WE DID IT!!

Respectively,

Ken Anthony, CAO Town of Woodstock
