Tracing your family tree? The on-site genealogist at the L.P. Fisher Public Library & the Thompson Centre will be glad to help, as will the Carleton County Historical Society, housed in the Hon. Charles Connell House, where the "Connell Stamp” is displayed. Take a stroll on Woodstock’s Historical Walking Tour to capture the work of this Victorian-era architect.
Walk along the Greenway, a 10-km (6.2-mi.) recreation trail that leads to the Meduxnekeag Nature Preserve, a tract of wilderness with stands of centuries-old Appalachian hardwood with abundant flora and fauna.
Stop by the Woodstock Farm & Craft Market open daily, Monday to Saturday, to purchase one of Carleton County’s creations, or pick up a sweet snack to enjoy along the way.
