The Woodstock Suicide Prevention Committee will be providing ASIST (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training) at the Upper River Valley Hospital in Waterville on September 26 & 27 from 8:30 to 4:30 each day. This is an evidence based Living Works program designed to provide professionals & members of the general public with knowledge about suicide, the skills to reach out, and the confidence to help save a life. The cost of the training is $70. and registration is by email to 1 in 5 struggle with emotional illness. 1 person dies by suicide every 40 seconds. Learn how to protect the folks you care about and prevent suicide loss in our communities in the Upper River Valley.
