On behalf of Old Home Week Board Request For Proposal- Grandstand- Submit by May 31st, 2024
The Old Home Week commission would like to present an opportunity for a family or business to show their community support in a permanent way. With the increased use of the Connell Park Raceway and Grandstand, it has become evident that improvements to the infrastructure need to be made in order to accommodate this growing use.
It is our goal to have the fenced in area increased in size, and have a permanent ticketing building constructed approximately 12’x24’ withlandscaping to accommodate and enhance these improvements. Interested partners would have their name prominently displayed with a permanent sign on the ticket building, commemorating their contributions to our community.
This recognition would be seen at all Raceway events by thousands of spectators and community members. Events such as harness racing, tractor pulls, horse pulls, lawnmower races, Demo derby, MSCR snowmobile races,
Ribfest and more…
